Jean-Michel grew up across North Africa and the Middle East, where travel and discovery shaped his early life. After nine years working in London and Moscow, he chose a path that felt closer to what he valued.

He now guides travellers through New Zealand and the Cook Islands with more than 20 years of experience. Known for rare access and for never repeating an itinerary in 25 years, he focuses on travel that feels real, meaningful, and able to shift how you see a place. He is always looking for a way to push boundaries, particularly with regard to transformational experiences.
